about

'Spectator : The Music Inspired by Carsten Meinert Kvartet' is the third album by Lord Akton and his 2nd on GSM. The idea behind the album startet in the summer of 2016 when Lord Akton was asked by the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, to remix the music of the Carsten Meinert Kvartet, who released the sought after album 'To You´ in 1968 on his own label Spectator. Now a year later the album have been under further development and more have been added, including a contribution by Carsten Meinert himself on a couple tracks.
